Alienware M17x Review – a Powerful Gaming Machine
Alienware M17x is definitely the most powerful gaming notebook on the market. This notebook following it’s previous model, 15-inch Area-51 M15x and Area-51 M17x. Alienware M17x has a Quad-Core Intel Core 2 duo processor combined with two NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 280M graphics processors running together in SLI. Just from those spec, this laptop already outrun his rivals.
You can modified the system with up to 8GB of RAM and 500GB 7,200rpm hard drives in RAID 0 or RAID 1 array. Just like another Alienware systems, Alienware M17x has grill lighting and custom keyboard. The M17x also has futuristic design that appears like automobile-esque than laptop.
The drawback from this laptop is the weight. With the size of 16 x 12.6 x 2.1 inches and 11.7 pounds weight, you wouldn’t want to carry it in your backpack too often. But it’s still a better choice than moving your gaming desktop around isn’t it?
